Heytutor is looking to hire part-time tutors to help K-12 students with basic ELA and Math. We have 50 positions available within the Inglewood area that we are looking to fill. This is a Part time / In Person position paying $19-24 per hour and we are aiming to start this role within the week.

Position: PK-12 School Tutor

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ current English and Spanish skills.
  • Help students work through their homework and study for exams.
  • Provide mentoring and social and emotional support by encouraging impactful, positive tutor-student relationships and increasing students’ motivation and engagement in learning.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or have an Associates or Bachelors degree. Some kind of experience with children would be considered.
  • Comfortable working in a classroom setting with grade school students.
  • Successfully complete a Background Check.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 3pm (6.5 hrs shift)
  • *Please note the start times will vary between each school site depending on bell schedule*

Pay Information:

  • Pay is in between $19-24 per hour
  • Paid bi-weekly
